CHENNAI: MAN KILLS TECHIE FOR SPEAKING TO SISTER-IN-LAW

A 30-year-old techie was beaten to death by his flatmate at a residence they shared at JJ Nagar in the city on Sunday night.

One Bharathiraja was arrested for fatally injuring and causing death by an iron rod to the victim identified as Ranganathan.

The bone of contention was that Bharathiraja was irked by Ranganathan's frequent visits and acquaintance with his sister-in-law.

During police interrogation, he confessed to the murder and has been remanded to judicial custody.
