According to reports, a man named Tamilarasan fell into the sea in Kasimedu to escape police and his body was recovered on Saturday. Tamilarasan, along with his friends, was gambling in the fishing harbour during the midnight on Friday when the police chased him, say reports. Fearing the police, the fisherman reportedly began to run and fell into the sea. It’s not yet known whether he jumped or slipped into the sea.
