According to reports, a 46-year-old, who climbs coconut trees for earning his livelihood, died after he accidentally fell from the top of a coconut tree in Virugambakkam area of Chennai on Monday. Anbu and Vasanthi (40), a couple from Nerkundram, has a 19-year-old daughter and a 14-year-old son. Anbu was cleaning the top of the tree by removing the unnecessary parts when the rope he was holding cut. He fell from the tree and suffered severe injuries. He was rushed to a private hospital nearby where he was declared brought dead.
