According to reports, a man named Rajesh from Ramadoss street of Medavakkam set his wife on fire following an argument. Rajesh, who was without any job, was drunk when he poured kerosene on his wife Sandhya and set her on fire. Set on fire, Sandhya hugged Rajesh. However, Sandhya died on the spot, while Rajesh was taken to hospital with severe burn injuries. The couple has two young children.
