CHENNAI: COUPLE CHARRED TO DEATH INSIDE CAR

A couple – Kannan and Usha – who went out for dinner on Wednesday night, sadly didn't return after they were charred to death when the car they were travelling in, caught fire. The incident happened in Chengalpattu. Motorists who saw the car go up in high flames informed the local police, who doused the fire only to find the extremely charred bodies. It is also being alleged that the couple could have lighted up themselves inside the car since the bodies were wound together by a string. This doubled with the fact that Kannan had financial problems of late and had sent his sons away to their relatives' house, has pushed forward the theory of suicide.
