Chennai Corporation is the first in India to do this

Tamil Nadu municipal administration minister S P Velumani reportedly inaugurated a project to commission drone mapping of properties and utilities. Reports say, Chennai corporation is the first municipal body in the country to launch this. The drones will reportedly be equipped with high-resolution cameras. The project costing Rs 6.43 crore will include two hexacopters and two quadcopters.
