Chennai collector V Anbuselvan reportedly issued a warning to the fishermen and asked them not to go into the sea on Monday owing to strong winds. Fishermen from Thiruvallur and Kanchipuram districts have also been asked not to go into the sea for the next four days. The new low-depression area near Andaman is expected to intensify in the next two days and could be transformed into a cyclone.
