According to reports, eight people were injured after an MTC bus from Saidapet to Broadway hit an iron pole in Anna Salai after the driver tried to avert from hitting a motorist, say reports. The injured were taken to Rajiv Gandhi government hospital. Traffic in Anna Salai was heavily affected as the iron rod holding large banners with names fell on the road.
