CHENNAI: BURGLARS TRAPPED INSIDE LOCKED HOUSE IN BUSY AREA

A locked house in Neelamangalam near Padappai was reportedly broken into with the use of fake keys by burglars on Tuesday. Since the occupants of the house were out of town, neighbours grew suspicious when they heard footsteps and gathered outside the house before informing the police.

Reports say, the burglars locked themselves inside the house till the police arrived. However, the public attacked the burglars while they were being taken to the station. A case has been registered.
