On January 21 ( Tuesday), a Hyundai car was racing fast near Maangaadu in Gergugambakkam which stopped as it got stuck in a pothole. The people passing through the area heard voices of a girl shouting from inside the car.
The people were shocked to know 3 boys and 1 girl inside the girl. It was clear that the girl was being abducted. The people pulled the boys and thrashed them before handing them over to Maangadu police officers.
During the investigation, it was revealed that Aravindh a 3rd-year college student from Madhanandhapuram lured two of his school-going 11th std friends to abduct the girl like one Tamil movie. Aravind told the school-going boys that the girl and himself were madly in love with each other. But the father of the girl fixed marriage with another guy. Further, he added that the girl will commit suicide is she did not marry him.
Falsely motivated by Aravind's fake story, the schoolboys put themselves in trouble. It was revealed that the girl is the daughter of a man who works for the intelligence unit. While Aravind was presented in front of the court and sent to Puzhal jail, the two school-going boys were sent to Child Reform Centre.
