A 38-year-old Chennai born woman, Shefali Ranganathan has reportedly been appointed as the Mayor of Seattle. She was earlier working at the TCC (Transportation Choices Coalition) as Executive Director. TTC is a non-profit public transport organisation in Washington. According to TOI, she attended school in Good Shephard convent and went to Stella Maris and Anna University for her graduation and Post graduation.
