CHENNAI - BOY FALLS TO DEATH FROM OVERCROWDED BUS

According to reports, a 14-year-old boy fell to his death from an overcrowded MTC bus on Friday at Tiruvottriyur.

Kabilan, a resident of Annai Sivagami Nagar, was on his way back home when he fell. The class 9 student boarded a 56W bus from Broadway to Madhavaram. He was forced to hang on the footboard with his heavy bag on his back as there was no space inside the bus.

Reportedly, Kabilan's bag caught on a transformer after which he lost his balance and fell to the ground. He came under the rear wheel of the bus and succumbed serious injuries. He was rushed to Stanley Hospital where he was declared brought dead.
