NIRMALA DEVI TO SPEND MORE TIME IN JAIL DESPITE CUSTODY ENDING?

Suspended professor of Devanga Arts and Science College Nirmala Devi, who was in the dock for allegedly trying to lure girl students into sexual favours, might be spending more time in jail, despite her judicial custody coming to an end on Wednesday. Reason? The disgraced ex-professor has been abandoned by her family, claims her lawyer who is handling her divorce as well, in an interview to The NewsMinute.
 

It is being learnt that Nirmala Devi’s husband and her elder daughter don’t want anything to do with her. Only her brother is being in touch at the moment, but according to the lawyer, even he has been waiting and watching to see the extent to which she might be embroiled in the case, to decide further on bail support.
 

The lawyer further adds that Nirmala Devi is under depression and undergoing psychiatric treatment.
