Home > News Shots > Tamil NaduSalem Police arrested three men who were accused of filming obscene videos of four women and forcing some of them to turn into sex workers. Reportedly the four of the victims are employees in the beauty parlour run by the accused men.
Police investigation has brought shocking details to light.
The main accused has been identified as Loganathan. He belongs to Dadagapatty village in Salem. He was arrested along with two of his friends.
The investigation revealed that over the past few months, Loganathan and his friends were on a lookout for young poor girls who are in dire need of money or women who have either separated or have been left by their husbands.
Allegedly, the main accused targeted these women and promised to help them financially. Sooner or later, they filmed obscene videos of the victims which was later used to blackmail them and even force them to turn into sex workers.
Few of the victims informed the police and filed complaints against them. Loganathan and two of his friends namely, Pradeep and Siva were interrogated by the police.
Loganathan confessed during the interrogation that they also blackmailed businessmen by forcing the women to lure businessmen and filmed lewd videos of them while they were engaged in sexual intercourse.
He also revealed that his wife and other family members are also involved in similar activities.
The police confiscated the smartphones in which the accused men filmed the videos. So far, the police have identified 6 young girls as victims.
This is an on-going investigation. The police is now trying to locate Loganathan’s wife who is in hiding.
