The Tamil Nadu tourism department has reportedly allotted funds for the beach beautification program. Following this, the Chennai Corporation has invited bids to buy eight tractors to clean the Marina and Elliot’s beach. Notably, two tractors have already been deployed to remove the waste along beaches.
