Indian bowler, Ashwin Ravinchandran took to his official Twitter page on April 14 and expressed his feelings on the Kathua rape case. He said, ""what are we turning our state and country into", we disrupt harmony and as a father of 2 lovely Aasifa's my stomach churns and heart burns. We celebrate everything in our country, do we need to mourn? Yes we do, this #tamilnewyear I will mourn and hope for a better future."
On January 10, eight-year-old Asifa was kidnapped and gang-raped inside a temple in Kathua, Kashmir for almost a week.
