Anna Salai metro rail tunnel to open in March 2018

Arvind Kumar Rai, Chief General Manager of Chennai Metro Rail Limited, has reportedly said that the metro rail underground tunnel in Anna Salai will be open for service in March 2018. He also reportedly said that the Mass Rapid Transit System (MRTS) route from Chennai Park to Velachery is being studied for possibilities to convert it into metro rail service.
