'ANJALI' MOVIE ACTRESS ALLEGES SENIOR CHENNAI JOURNO OF HARASSMENT

A 42-year-old woman who has acted in Mani Ratnam's Anjali as a child artiste going by the name Gayatri Sai has accused a Chennai-based senior journalist Prakash M Swamy of sexual harassment. Gayatri says that Swamy approached her seeking sexual favours on the pretext of helping with her son's passport and tried to trash her reputation when she denied to do the same and reprimanded him for his behaviour.
In his defense, Swamy to a few media has said that he was merely investigating into the details of Gayatri's husband who had passed away in Hong Kong a few years ago. Gayatri claims that Swamy had been accusing her of killing her husband when actually he had passed away due to a massive heart attack.
