Madras High Court on Monday ordered that Animal Welfare should be included as a subject in the school syllabus in response to a petition filed by an animal welfare organisation, People For Cattle in India (PFCI). Reportedly the judgement was apt on time as the State Government has proposed to upgrade the syllabus.
