DMK’s MLA Anbazhagan who was admitted to a health care facility after testing positive for the coronavirus, was said to have been kept in a ventilator yesterday. However, the doctors revealed today that his condition is improving.
After having fallen sick on June 3, he was admitted to Doctor Rela Institute and Medical Centre, Chrompet. There he was informed that he had tested positive for covid-19. While he was being treated for the virus, the doctors had informed last evening that his situation was critical.
The 61 year-old MLA was under ventilator support which was giving him 80% oxygen support. However, after continuous and effective treatment, the doctors informed today that his condition is improving. He is now being given 67% oxygen support from the ventilator.
