Air quality worsens after Diwali

Despite the ban on the sale of firecrackers in New Delhi, the air quality reportedly remained negative on Thursday. Reportedly, the air quality index in Delhi’s Anand Vihar and Punjabi Bagh were marked at 'hazardous' levels of 740 and 466. Reports suggest that the air quality in Delhi might even enter the ‘emergency’ zone due to the burning of crackers in certain parts of the city.
