Following the Theni forest fire that proved to be disastrous for the trekkers by claiming nine lives, the Kerala government has reportedly imposed a temporary ban on trekking in the reserved forests of the state. The state chief secretary also said that touring in the forest areas has been temporarily banned, reports added.
