Days after Tamil Nadu chief Minister Edappadi Palaniswami hit out at actor Vijay-starrer 'Sarkar', a fresh row has broken out between the AIADMK leaders and actor and producer K Vishal.
On a day when AIADMK launched its new 24-hour news channel called ‘NewsJ’, Vishal put out a statement, questioning how MLAs and MPs who draw salaries were able to fund such a massive endeavour.
Vishal's comments come days after CM Palaniwami questioned the source of funding for movies in the Tamil film industry. Vishal hit back questioning how do politicians secure funding to start a news channel.
" I heard it costs a bomb to start a new s channel. How do u guys as Mla s mps gettin monthly salary come up wit such a business module," Vishal said in a tweet.
Another news channel starting up. Wow. I heard it costs a bomb to start a new s channel. How do u guys as Mla s mps gettin monthly salary come up wit such a business module. 🙄🙄🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔. Waiting for 2019.
