The Tamil Nadu government has reportedly issued a notification that requires beneficiaries to furnish Aadhaar numbers for health schemes under the National Health Mission. The notification reportedly stated that the move will help in the accuracy of the beneficiaries’ details. The move will also assist in identifying the beneficiaries in a hassle-free manner, the notification added.
