Remembering that Tamil Nadu was born on November 1, 1956, when several Indian states were reorganised on linguistic basis, PMK founder Ramadoss on Wednesday tweeted that a Tamilian should become the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu soon. Notably, the government in November 1956 passed the States Reorganisation Act dividing the country into 14 states including Tamil Nadu (Madras then) and six union territories.
