At least 85 people have reportedly died of Dengue outbreak in Tamil Nadu so far, while another 12,000 people have been admitted to hospitals across the State. Reports suggest that 1,150 people out of the 12,000 have been diagnosed with Dengue. Chennai, Tiruvallur, Kanchipuram, Coimbatore, Salem, Erode, Krishnagiri, Kanyakumari, Tirunelveli, Kadalur and Viluppuram are the most affected areas, say reports. Further, the state government has been taking severe safety measures to contain the Dengue outbreak.
