Twenty-eight technical institutions across Tamil Nadu have reportedly applied for closure from the academic year 2018-2019. Report say, 12 engineering colleges, seven MCA, three MBA colleges, and six polytechnic colleges are among the institutions that applied to the All India Council for Technical Education for closing their colleges.
