In yet another case of techie attack, a woman techie from Chennai was abducted by a gang while she was travelling in a call-taxi on Friday night. The driver reportedly stopped the car to attend nature’s call when two men, who had their faces covered got into the car. They threatened the driver to take the car to Grand North Trunk Road and snatched the woman’s debit card, forcing her to reveal the PIN number. When they reached Surapet, they passed the debit card to two more men, who were waiting there and dumped the woman on road. The woman reached the police control room after which a complaint was launched. Police are searching for the accused with the help of CCTV footages.
