2.6 crore jobs to be created in this industry by 2020

Union Minister Suresh Prabhu reportedly said that the AYUSH industry is expected to create 2.6 crore jobs by 2020. In an event held in Delhi on Monday, he said the industry is expected to grow in double digits and creative massive direct as well as indirect jobs. Notably, AYUSH includes Ayurveda, Yoga and Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha and Homoeopathy systems of medicine and healthcare.
