A techie working in a software company identified as Piyush Sharma reportedly fell from the fourth floor of his apartment in Kelambakkam on Monday night when he was speaking over the phone. According to media reports, the police suspects that Piyush would have slipped from the balcony or would have fallen while trying to catch the phone if it had slipped from his hand while on call. Investigations are going on to find the exact cause of his death. Reportedly, the residents rushed him to a hospital where he succumbed to injuries.
