1,800 officials conduct IT raids at premises of Sasikala’s kin

According to reports, at least 1,800 officials have been conducting income tax raids at different offices and residences of those close to AIADMK leaders TTV Dhinakaran and VK Sasikala. Further, reports say that 1,000 officials are from Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka. The tax sleuths have reportedly seized hundreds of documents from various premises. Meanwhile, some politicians from Tamil Nadu have alleged that the raids are conducted to threaten TTV Dhinakaran.
