The Chennai Airport on the occasion of Women’s Day took to Twitter to announce that a total of 10 sanitary napkin vending machines have been installed at the airport. The machines have been installed in the ladies' washrooms at the Domestic and International terminals. It said that the initiative is aimed at “supporting the cause of personal hygiene and for the convenience of women passengers & women employees at the airport.”
