According to the data released by Union Tourism Ministry on Thursday, Tamil Nadu remains the top destination for domestic tourists for the third consecutive year. Reportedly, more than 344 million tourists from within the country visited the state in 2016. Uttar Pradesh holds the second place followed by Madhya Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka.
