Tamil Nadu will become the only state in India to have had three female chief ministers. Janaki Ramachandran was the first female Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu. She was followed by former AIADMK chief Jayalalithaa. Notably, AIADMK general secretary Sasikala will become the third female CM of the state.
