Tamil Nadu government has reportedly increased the dearness allowance for state government employees by 4% with effect from January 1, 2017. According to reports, the State Chief Minister Edappadi Palaniswami made this announcement on Wednesday. Notably, over 18 lakh employees will be benefitted through this hike.
