Tamil Nadu government adviser Sheela Balakrishnan has reportedly quit her post on Friday. According to reports, Sheela's term ends on March 31, and sources said that she had called the senior bureaucrats to take leave. Notably, Sheela was a 1976-batch IAS official from Thiruvananthapuram and was appointed as advisor to the then Chief Minister Jayalalithaa in 2014.
