MR Viswanathan, popularly known as Visu, who has acted and directed over 70 films, has joined the BJP in the presence of Union minister Pon Radhakrishnan at the party’s office in Chennai. Earlier, he was a member of the AIADMK and an anchor of a program in Jaya TV. He had been politically inactive for some time.
