Syrian President Bashar al-Assad on Thursday reportedly called the suspected chemical weapons attack as a "fabrication." Speaking to Agence France-Presse, Assad alleged that the chemical attack claim was to justify a US military strike. Assad also said that Syria had given up all its chemical weapons.
