The External Affair Minister Sushma Swaraj on Thursday reportedly welcomed Uzma Ahmed after she crossed the Wagah border and stepped into India. Sushma on her official Twitter account tweeted that "Uzma - Welcome home India's daughter. I am sorry for all that you have gone through". Notably, an Indian woman who was forced to marry a Pakistani was allowed to return home a day after the Islamabad High Court allowed her deportation.
