Several students and people have joined the villagers at Neduvasal in Pudukkottai district and have staged a hunger strike against the hydrocarbon project. According to reports, Alangudi MLA Meyyanathan has also joined the protesters at the village. Notably, the villagers are protesting against the project for the past eight days.
