England pace bowler Stuart Broad on Friday was awarded the Order of the British Empire by Prince Charles at Buckingham Palace. Broad, who was recently interviewed for the post of England captain, was recognised for his contribution to cricket. He was awarded the Member of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire, the fifth class in the order of chivalry.
