Attorney General of India Mukul Rohatgi has reportedly said that Tamil Nadu state government has the power to make a law over the conduct of Jallikattu. According to reports, Rohatgi also added that the Supreme Court could not stop the state from making a law. Notably, Justice Markandey Katju had earlier said that President could issue an ordinance on the recommendation of the Prime Minister.
