The 15th season of the IPL series is in full swing in India. The 5th league match was played at the Pune ground yesterday. Sunrisers Hyderabad, led by Kane Williamson, and Rajasthan Royals, led by Sanju Samson, clashed.
Hyderabad won the toss and elected to field first. Batting accordingly, Rajasthan scored 210 for 6 in 20 overs. Captain Sanju Samson top-scored with 55, Devdutt Padikkal with 41, Jos Butler with 35 and Shimron Hetmyer with 32.
Following this, Hyderabad scored only 149 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in 20 overs. So Rajasthan won by 61 runs. Aiden Markram (52) and Washington Sundar (40) were the top scorers for Hyderabad. For Rajasthan, Chahal took 3 wickets and Trent Boult and Prasidh Krishna took 2 wickets each.
At this stage the Hyderabad team players were engaged in web training before the match. Nicholas Pooran can be seen challenging fast bowler Umran Malik to bowl a 'yorker' and if he fails to do so, the latter will treat him with a 'free dinner'. Check out the video here -
