TASKIN AHMED LIKELY TO JOIN LUCKNOW SUPER GIANTS AS MARK WOOD’S REPLACEMENT IN IPL 2022

The 15th season of the IPL series is yet to start in a few days. The Gujarat Titans and the Lucknow Super Giants have been added to the existing eight teams. So all the players on the team were disbanded and the mega IPL auction took place in February. Many of these foreign players were bought for a high price.
Players who have been on some teams in this position are being sidelined due to injury. So each team is currently selecting replacement players. The Lucknow team, led by KL Rahul, has bid for England's fast bowler Mark Wood.
The England team, which is currently touring the West Indies, is playing in the Test series. Mark Wood has been ruled out of the Test series due to injury. Following this, he announced his withdrawal from the IPL series. Due to this, the Lucknow team is currently in the process of selecting a replacement for him.
Lucknow team adviser Gautam Gambhir is currently in the process of selecting the right replacement for Mark Wood. In it, he is keen to include the young fast bowler of the Bangladesh national team, Taskin Ahmed, in the Lucknow team. He said, "I want Bangladesh fast bowler Taskin Ahmed in the team and that is for the whole season."
Gautam Gambhir further said, "If he agrees to the offer, Taskin will have to leave for India before the next two Tests against South Africa."
