Delhi Capitals opener Prithviraj Shah has been fined 25 per cent of his match fee for violating IPL rules of conduct.
The 15th season of the IPL, which started on March 26, has reached an exciting stage. The Lucknow Super Giants and Delhi Capitals clashed in the 45th league match at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai yesterday. Lucknow won the toss and elected to field. Rahul chose batting. Lucknow scored 195 runs for the loss of 3 wickets at the end of 20 overs. The team captain Rahul scored 77 runs and Deepak Hooda 52 runs. Delhi's Shardul Tagore took 3 wickets.
Following this, the Delhi team set a target of 196 for victory. Starters Prithviraj Shah and Warner struck out 7 and 3 respectively. After that the Marsh-Punt pair played casually. Yet this partnership soon broke down. Marsh returned to the pavilion for 37 in the eighth over. Then Captain Rishabh Pandey was out for 44. The Delhi team lost 7 wickets at the end of 20 overs and scored only 189 runs as the next batsmen did not last long. Lucknow won by 6 runs.
