The Women's T20 Challenge 2022 is being held at the Maharashtra Cricket Association Ground. Two teams participated in this cricket series which was held for the first time in 2018. The Supernova team was led by Smriti Mandana and the Trail Blazers team was led by Harman Preeth Kaur. The first trophy was won by the Supernova team.
There are 3 teams playing in this year’s series. The Supernova team is led by Harmanpreet Kaur, the Trail Blazers team is led by Smriti Mandana and the Velocity team is led by Deepti Sharma.

Supernova and Velocity face off in the second match of the ongoing Women's T20 Challenge Series. In this match, Velocity spinner Maya Sonawane bowled differently, which caught the attention of many.
Earlier, Sonawane, who had excelled in the Senior Women's T20 tournament, took 11 wickets in 8 matches. Maya is also known as the highest wicket-taker in the series.
