IPL 2022: BIG ACCUSATION AGAINST KKR; COACH SAYS KULDEEP YADAV WAS "TREATED LIKE A SERVANT BY KKR"!
Home > News Shots > SportsThe 15th IPL season that started on the 26th, has been going on very well.
Rajasthan Royals and Sunrisers Hyderabad will clash in the fifth league match to be played today, after four matches so far.
Earlier, in a match between Mumbai Indians and Delhi Capitals, Delhi won by 4 wickets.
Man of the match - Kuldeep Yadav
In this match, Delhi spinner Kuldeep Yadav, Rohit Sharma, Anmol Preet Singh and Pollard took three important wickets to clinch the Man of the Match award. Kuldeep Yadav, who has played for Kolkata in the last two seasons, has been given only a handful of matches.
Delhi team bidding
Meanwhile, Kuldeep Yadav has not been given any consecutive chances in the Indian team. Only recently in one series did he play for the Indian team. Following this, this time in the IPL mega auction, the Delhi team had bid for him for Rs 2 crore.
Kuldeep Yadav's coach controversial remark
Following this, he proved his mettle by taking key wickets in the first match in which he is currently playing, knocking off the Man of the Match award. In this regard, Kuldeep Yadav's coach Kapil Pandey has made some comments.
"Kuldeep was doing well, but he was being neglected. The day KKR released him, we were very happy and so was Kuldeep. We thought Kuldeep was being treated like a servant in the Kolkata Knight Riders camp. If he is not getting chances, it is better to be released."
“The boy who should have got INR 9-10 crore, has got only INR 2 crore. He has also suffered financially because of KKR. I told him that there was no harm in getting a lower price in the auction, just keep playing. We work so hard to play cricket, not only to earn money. The main goal is to play for the country,” he further added.
Controversial remark
“Kuldeep told me ‘I don’t know what the problem is, sir, I am not getting enough opportunities. I don’t know why they are not giving me the ball, what their plans are.’ Actually, the captain and the team management lost faith in him. Depression was grasping him,” Pandey added.
Kuldeep Yadav's coach's comment about playing for Kolkata for two years has caused a stir.
