A case has been registered against Dhoni's IPL advertisement and action has been taken.
The 15th season of the IPL series is in full swing. The reigning champions Chennai Super Kings have lost 3 consecutive matches. This is the first time in the history of the IPL that a CSK team has lost like this.
In this state, the former captain of the CSK team Dhoni has landed in a new controversy. That is, Dhoni starred in one of the commercials for the IPL series. Seeing this, the Consumer Unity and Trust Society (CUTS) filed a lawsuit. ASCI has taken note of this and have asked the marketing company to either modify the ad or take it off completely by 20th April. The company has agreed to withdraw the ad accordingly, which promotes road irregularities and traffic congestion.
