The IPL league match between Punjab Kings and Mumbai Indians was played at the Pune Stadium yesterday. Batting first, Punjab scored 198 for 5 in 20 overs. Shikhar Dhawan top-scored with 70 and captain Mayank Agarwal top-scored with 52.
Batting next, Mumbai scored only 186 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in 20 overs. So Punjab won by 12 runs. Odeon Smith took 4 wickets, Rabada 2 wickets and Vaibhav Arora 1 wicket for Punjab.
Shikhar Dhawan holds the record for most runs scored by a batsman at 871 (27 innings) against Mumbai Indians. Former CSK batsman Suresh Raina previously holds the record of 850 runs (36 innings).
Shikhar Dhawan also tops the list of players with the most fours and sixes (803) in the IPL. Next in line is Royal Challengers Bangalore star Virat Kohli (768).
