Dhoni-led Chennai Super Kings and Kane Williamson Sunrisers Hyderabad clashed in the 46th league match of the IPL yesterday. CSK openers Rudraj Kejriwal and Daven Conway put on 202 for the loss of two wickets. Rudraj scored 99 and Daven Conway scored 85. Natarajan took 2 wickets for Hyderabad.
Batting next, Hyderabad scored only 189 for 6 in 20 overs. So Chennai team won by 13 runs. CSK team opener Ruturaj Gaikwad was awarded the Man of the Match award.
In this situation, Ruturaj Gaikwad has equaled the record of Sachin Tendulkar who scored the fastest 1000 runs in IPL matches. Sachin Tendulkar tops the list with 1000 runs in 31 innings. He achieved this feat in the last IPL match in 2010.
